Aeronautical Engineering encompasses designing aircraft, stability and control of aerospace vehicles, propulsion systems, low and high speed aerodynamics and also development of advanced technologies in the field of defense and space science.

Thus career opportunities are vast especially in the fields of designing and planning , building, testing ,operation and upkeep of both commercial and military aircraft, ballistic capsules and space vehicles and their components as well as satellites and missiles.
